8# Nonel Detonator
Our 8# nonel detonators including: millisecond、 1/4 second、 1/2 second 、instantaneous and second nonel detonator;
In accordance with the different water-resistant performance, they can be divided into common detonators (series) and water-resistant detonators (series); delay nonel detonator series using a lead delay element, and featured by simple structure, precise seconds and detonating reliability.
The industrial plastic nonel detonator is an industrial detonator that can be exploded by shock wave of a plastic detonating tube, consisting of a plastic detonating tube, a sealing plug, a delay element and a fire exploder.
With the anti-static and anti-stray current ability, the nonel detonator is featured by safety, reliability, simplicity and ease. Currently, it is applicable to blasting engineering without gas and mine dust explosion hazards as well as blasting operations in blasting sites where electric detonators are not suitable.

2. Application:
The millisecond nonel detonator is new short-delay detonating equipment. The product not only having the advantages of anti-stray electric detonators and millisecond electric detonators, but also being characterized by small detonating energy, and easy operation.
Applicable to blasting engineering without gas and mine dust explosion hazards, and used for detonating explosives, detonating cords and nonel tubes. Applicable to blasting of millisecond detonators, effectively reducing the seismic waves, decreasing a secondary blasting, and improving blasting efficiency.

Shell material: flanged steel shell, copper-plated steel shell
Shell length: 50 ~ 80mm
Shell outside diameter: 6.88 ± 0.06mm
Plastic nonel tube: complying with WJ/T2019-2004 Plastic Nonel Tube
Length: basic length of 3.0m (as per user requirements)
4. Performance
Detonating capacity:
8# millisecond nonel detonator can tear into a 5mm thick lead sheet, with the perforation diameter not less than 7.0mm.
Water resistant performance:
Common millisecond nonel detonator:
After being immersed in a 1m deep water-filled container for 8h, it can achieve reliable detonation;
Water-resistant:After being immersed in water of 0.2MPa pressure for 24h, it is tested immediately after removal and shall not suffer from misfire or half explosion.
Tensile strength:
Standard: After subjected to 19.6N static pull for 1min, the detonating cord detonator should not come out of the bayonet plug;
Anti-vibration performance:
Complying with the WJ231 Vibration Test Machine, with cam speed of (60 ± 1) r/min, drop height of (150mm ± 2mm); after continuous vibration for 10min, the detonator shall not explode, and its structure shall be free of looseness or damage.

5. Cautions:
The millisecond nonel detonator, in the original package, shall be stored in a non-heated, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, with a warranty period of two years from the date of manufacture. Handling shall be conducted with great care to prevent shock and friction.
Special detonators, detonating cords, bullet primers or detonators can be used for denotation. Series, parallel or cluster connections may be adopted. If a detonator is used for detonation, the detonating direction shall be opposite to the direction of explosion propagation of nonel detonator (reverse detonation);
if a detonating cord is used for detonation, the detonating direction shall be the same as the direction of explosion propagation of nonel detonator.
